To have access to a wider variety of wine and in addition to the usual place I will continue to go in the Bay Area, I got for a few months now the "Dirty Dozen" at The Wine House in San Francisco. As its names suggests there are 12 bottles of different wines but they are not all dirty. Some are unfortunatly and for those the "bargain" price becomes racket...but if we don't try, we won't know, right?! This one especially Lalande Chardonnay is not great but I'm not at all amateur of Chardonnnay so I may be wrong ;-)

I confirm: just got another bottle of Lalande and it's not worth the price. I will avoid in the future.
